Formed in 2006 by four Directors with nearly 70 years’ experience between them, Reliance Medical Ltd is a family business, based in Staffordshire in the UK.

A dedication to quality, service and innovation has established and secured our position as the UK’s leading manufacturer and trade only supplier of first aid and medical equipment to the industrial sector, supported by the UK’s largest distributor network for first aid. Reliance Medical are experts in own brand labelling and the latest regulatory requirements, we are the OEM manufacturers for several UK brands. In addition, Reliance Medical are trusted suppliers to the NHS and Ambulance services, having supplied them for nearly fifteen years.

We have vertically integrated our business, operating an impressive 77,000 sq ft factory in Shanghai, allowing us to directly control the manufacture of consumables and assembly of first aid kits. Reliance Medical Shanghai is a wholly owned subsidiary, manufacturing exclusively for Reliance Medical Ltd. Our Chinese facility features a state-of-the-art clean room, in which last year we manufactured more than 80 million plasters for the UK market, along with many other products.

Incorporated in China, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Medical Ltd. With its impressive and experienced team, the Shanghai operation employs over 50 people, source manufacturing, packing and most importantly, quality assuring products for supply to the UK business, other export clients and the domestic Chinese market.

The furiously busy production and distribution activities work to exacting deadlines, providing the highest standards of both product and service. Customers are always welcome to visit our factory and our UK sales team are ready to arrange an inspection tour.
